WEDDINGS

PLANNING  DESIGN

As a wedding designer I am fortunate to meet and work with a lot of amazing people, all with different personalities and styles. Every couple I work with has a unique vision for their special day and my role is to curate inspiration, ideas and solutions to deliver just that.

In planning their special day, I always encourage clients to focus on what defines them and their style, both individually and as a couple. To draw ideas from traditions and trends that they can relate to, and create a mix that is entirely unique to them and worthy of their special day.

I strongly believe that each wedding deserves a carefully tailored set of services that complements the couple’s efforts in planning their special day. Which is why I offer a full range of services that can assist couples with all aspects of wedding planning and design, and provide the level of support they need. Some couples prefer to manage everything themselves, while getting some assistance with a few elements that they are not entirely comfortable with. Others do not have the time necessary to dedicate to full planning or feel overwhelmed by all the elements that need to be considered, so they need someone to provide guidance or manage every aspect for them. Depending on individual circumstances I get involved at various stages of planning. This can be in the beginning, with a simple consultation on the aesthetic of the wedding. Throughout the planning process, liaising with the venue and various vendors to facilitate communications. On the day, co-ordinating the set-up and styling the space(s). Or I can work with the couple from start to finish, taking care of all the logistics and design elements, to create a beautiful and highly personal celebration.

For clients who choose to work with me from the beginning, or throughout most of their planning process, I create a private account on an online planning and design platform. This provides a unique space where the client can find inspiration, collate all their design ideas and planning details (vendor details, quotes, contracts, proposals), create a to-do list with email reminders, maintain oversight and edit their budget, manage the guest list, including RSVP tracking, and much more. The information on the platform can also be shared with any of the vendors or family members involved in the planning. As planner/designer, I can manage the account entirely, while the client maintains oversight and edits as they like. Or alternatively I can curate only certain parts of the account, as required.

My work is dedicated to creating unique and unforgetable experiences. I like to get to know my clients personally and aim to build a real relationship with each of them. That, not only helps me translate their style and personality into their wedding day, but is also the best incentive to maintain the highest level of quality and attention to detail. And with that in mind, I only take a limited number of clients each year. This way I can dedicate enough time and attention to each client, and keep my services flexible should they need more help from me along the way.

I also want my clients to feel comfortable with the process. To be able to enoy their engagement period and therefore to trust me to do the right thing for them. As a starting point I offer a fully transparent service every single time. Each client receives from me a detailed, itemised list of services that I will perform and a personalised quote. I don’t take commisions from other contracted vendors and I always disclose if I have a personal interest in recommending a certain professional.

From an aesthetic point of view, I am inclined towards effortless elegance, with a focus on beautiful and distinctive details that enhance each part of the day, and a touch of personality.

Location wise, I plan weddings for couples throughout London and the surrounding counties, as well as elopements and destination weddings across Europe. And while I adore a summer destination wedding on the Mediterranean coast, I dream to design one day, a lavish winter affair, in a snowy location.

HOW IT WORKS WITH WEDDINGS

HOW IT WORKS

First, you’ll need to drop me an email and introduce yourselves. Try to share as much as you can (have considered already) about your vision and your plans.

Next, I’ll give you a quick call and ask you a few simple questions to get a sense of your initial ideas, style and requirements.

If all goes well on the call, we’ll follow that with a face-to-face meeting (in person or video). This will be a no-strings-attached consultation to feel out the chemistry, to discuss the range of services I offer and to answer some of your questions.

After our meeting, based on your requirements I will send you a custom itemised quote (for design projects I also include a few ideas and some inspirational photos, to give you a glimpse into my creative process; you will receive a detailed design proposal only after booking my services). Next, if you are happy and decide that I am the right person to create something awesome for your special day, you then book my services and we proceed to do wonderful things together.

No two clients are alike so, depending on your circumstances I can assist in a few different ways. To give you a better idea of what to expect, below is a breakdown of different levels of service you can consider.

Consulting

If you like to do it all by yourself, but need help defining and incorporating your style, I can put together a one-off design and styling consultation proposal. Depending on your requirements and the look you are after the proposal can include any of the following: a personalised mood-board, tips on how to incorporate the colours and textures chosen, a brief flower proposal, suggestions for table setting and venue decoration, an outline of traditions and customs, and a planning and styling checklist. For further guidance, I offer additional hourly consultation over the phone or on skype.

Design & Styling

With this level of service, I work with you on the look of your wedding day, from beggining to end. This means that I will also work closely with your other vendors, such as venue, catering, stationery designers & florist, to ensure I achieve a cohesive design.  In addition to the initial consultation, I provide 2-4 hours of face-to-face consultation, one site visit, concept development, a written design proposal (including a mood board, examples of proposed styling items, a detailed floor plan and table setting outline), selection of decor props to purchase or hire, and on the day creative direction and styling.

Full Planning & Design

Very simply put, this means that I take care of all the planning logistics, overall design and on the day styling. So in addition to the creative service, I also assist with things like venue and vendor research, co-ordination, budget management etc. This way, you get complete peace of mind and can instead enjoy your engagement. Both this and the creative package are fully customisable so please get in touch for a full list of services included.
